BOOKINGS

Before any imaging examination is able to be performed, an appropriate Request Form from your referring doctor must be presented at the Practice. This form needs to be completed and signed by the referring doctor. A form, letterhead from another radiology practice is acceptable to Steg a Radiology provided that your doctor has signed the form correctly. 

Procedural exams. E.g. CT, Barium Meals and Ultrasound, CT Dentascan require booking and may also require special preparation. Please ring for an appointment time at the Practice you will be attending. You will be informed if any preparation is required for that procedure.

ACCOUNT INFORMATION

Fees are generally higher than the Schedule Fee, with a Co-payment by the patient in addition to any Medicare Rebate and Health Fund Benefit. Steg Radiology is aware of the financial difficulty this Co-payment may cause and welcomes your concern to be discussed with our staff who will endeavour to assist. When making your appointment, feel free to enquire about the fee and any Co-payment. EFTPOS facilities are available at all Practices.
